How it plays

01

Choose your faction

Humans, Undead, Demonics, or Greenskins. Each has 6 unique unit types with different costs, movements, and special abilities.

02

Draft your warband

Spend 75 XP to build your team. Must include a King and at least one Pawn. Every point is a tactical commitment — no two warbands are alike.

03

Deploy and battle

Place your units in your spawn zone, then take turns moving one piece. Capture enemies by moving onto their square. Terrain matters — water blocks, gaps divide, corridors create chokepoints.

04

Capture the King

The game ends the moment a King is captured. Protect yours, hunt theirs. Check forces a response — but there's no stalemate here.

THE FACTIONS

Four factions. Zero symmetry

Each faction brings unique units with different costs, movements, and special abilities. No two warbands play the same.

Humans
Balanced generalists. Archers attack across gaps, the Wizard splits movement and attack, and the Princess slides like a bishop.
💀
Undead
Movement trickery. Wraiths phase through gaps, the Vampire reverses move/attack axes, and the Warlock attacks diagonally at range.
🔥
Demonics
Devastating firepower. Kobolds and Iron Golems use cannon attacks — sliding through a screen piece to strike at range. The Red Dragon attacks as a knight.
👺
Greenskins
Brute force. Goblins and Ogres bring cannon attacks like Demonics, while the Shaman commands full queen movement. The Warlord strikes as a knight.

MOD HOOKS

Fork the dungeon. Rewrite the rules

Every game constant lives in plain JS objects you can fork and edit.

data.js → UNITS
24 unit definitions with type, faction, XP cost, and cannon behaviour. Add new units, rebalance costs, or create a fifth faction.
data.js → MAPS
Board layouts as grid arrays — walls, water, gaps, and spawn zones. Add new maps or reshape existing dungeons.
data.js → SP_INFO
Faction metadata — names, accent colours, descriptions. Rename factions, change themes, or add asymmetric flavour text.
state.js → XP budget
Draft budget and AI draft logic. Change the 75 XP cap, adjust AI weighting, or add draft constraints per faction.
